FALL/WINTER 2022
ABOUT FW22
Jade Cropper made her debut at Copenhagen Fashion Week with FW22, emerging as part of a new generation of fashion designers redefining industry standards through a bold and innovative approach.
The FW22 collection explored the tension between rawness and refinement, combining deconstructed elements with sculptural tailoring and handcrafted details. Central to the collection was the idea of adaptability — every garment was designed to be alterable and transformable, encouraging longevity, personal expression, and a more conscious relationship between the wearer and the piece. Through adjustable constructions and modular details, the garments were created to evolve over time rather than be replaced.
Crafted entirely from waste and recycled materials, each piece was handmade in Jade Cropper’s Stockholm studio. The creative process began with the materials themselves, allowing the fabrics, textures, and imperfections to shape the silhouettes and final expressions. This material-driven approach became fundamental to the brand’s philosophy, where sustainability is embedded into the design process rather than treated as an afterthought.
All pieces were produced in Sweden, emphasizing local craftsmanship, small-scale manufacturing, and responsible production.
The collection received widespread international recognition and was featured in Dazed, i-D, Vogue Business, British Vogue, Evening Standard, and WWD. It was also picked up by leading retailers including SSENSE, Farfetch, and Browns Fashion.
