FALL/WINTER 2023

Brutalism, elegance, energy, motion and the beauty of the mundane – sophistication meets urban grit in the Fall/Winter 2023 collection. I have reinterpreted everyday functional garments and given them a feminine Edge, a ”Jade Cropper Edge”. The theme really came from the fact that I have been so busy so I´ve hardly seen anything other than the walk to the bus and my studio. I took different elements; concrete, energy, movement, sophistication and urbanism to create my own world, a world where the ordinary of everyday life can be extraordinary. I like to find inspiration from what is not considered beautiful and I think there is beauty in these habitual tasks; standing in line at the supermarket, waiting for a coffee, the walk from the office to the metro. I wanted to create a collection that allows the wearer to go out and be able to face their everyday battles whilst also looking good, garments that can be worn for these day-to-day moments as well as for a specific occasion, to leave the wearer feeling both elegant and empowered.
